In my header, there is a list of categories under the main tabs. This appears to be there whether you want them there or not. Is there a way to get rid of the categories?

In my header, there is a list of categories under the main tabs. This appears to be there whether you want them there or not. Is there a way to get rid of the categories?
Try editing your theme's header.php or sidebar.php file.
