Don’t get me wrong I’m all for supporting peoples work and if i had to pay a small amout for W3 i may just do that or if there was the option to pay if you wanted like many sites again i amy do that, but thats my choice.

This new pop up that will not let me access the settings unless i do in fact make a link is simply outrageous.

If there is no way to by pass this or as it says un-tick the Yes, sign me up box then i will have to remove the plug in, can you please advise me on why this is being forced upon us?

I agree this popup is very annoying…I can’t figure out how to make it go away. I am tired of seeing it on my settings page. Thanks!

This is actually a bug in the current release (0.9.2.4), not an attempt to get people to purchase W3 Total Cache Pro. In fact, upgrading doesn’t resolve this issue.

The popup suppression behavior is improved in the next release, but if you email us and provide FTP access, I’ll get you fixed up.

For anyone wanting to fix this on their own before the new release comes out, here’s how to do it:
1. First make a backup of your W3 Total Cache settings file, it’s located at /wp-content/w3tc-config/master.php
2. Open master.php in and find the 'notes.support_us' => true, line and change it to 'notes.support_us' => false,
The popup should go away once you’ve done this, though it might take a few minutes for the change to be seen.
