  • I have a request to make.

I long for a search facility each seperately for support, codex, WPblog, tag-wise etc. And the result rendered in chronological order. It is a real pain to sift through the maze of disorderly cluttered results.

    Please!

Separate is right! When I am searching (what appears to be) the forum, I am looking for forum entries only. Unfortunately, any search of the main site pulls up the same set of documents, all introductions of new versions or other announcements, and they do nothing to answer any question I might have.

To search the support forum, I use http://wordpress.org/support/search.php

Yep. Search is broken. I don’t have any idea when it won’t be broken. Sorry.

I’ve been getting a lot of useful information by googling terms I want to find with the specification site:wordpress.org

    e.g.:
    wysiwyg site:wordpress.org

    or:
    css resources site:wordpress.org

Thank providence (and whoever was actually involved) for google!

    Kat, the Twat

yup. i have to end up using google site search myself… hate the idea of removing the internal search of wiki… forum has too much trash to get included in wiki codex search.

Actually, once you get the broken page, if you hit search again it’ll go through. However, you get the same jumble of EEP EVERYTHING ON THE SITE!
