• My experiences over the last year…
I asked for help, but I got nothing for 2 weeks. Still waiting on that answer.

It’s not a great app. It’s fine for very simple invoicing, but it’s got a lot of problems. Allowing payments never worked right for me. It stopped talking to Paypal a long time ago. Now my invoices are just blank screens. The support is lacking. The premium features, of which I did try to purchase one, wouldn’t work.

Of the 3 times I’ve asked for help, I’ve gotten a response once. That was when I paid for a premium feature, then requested a refund. They also seem to have erased a couple of their responses where I was asked to double check my settings and make sure I used the right domain name (because clearly I don’t know my own domain name…). You can see where I referenced that in one of the messages, although the original message they posted is gone. Apparently they had something wrong on their end, which they said, but that’s also deleted.

There are no reporting tools other than a pie chart. You can purchase Power Tools, one of their premium addons, for more money than it’s worth. It’s essentially a json info dump that you have little control over and making it readable is more work than simply writing it all down by hand. It can be converted to CSV but not without a great deal of cleanup.

I wanted to like it. I gave it a lot of time to work out the kinks. I’m done with it and going back to PayPal invoices. They have little interest in helping anyone as far as I can tell.

Overall, they seem a bit on the shady side, and this plugin isn’t worth the headache.

    Hello,

topics you have posted with your questions on usabilitydynamics.com may be not answered by staff since it is only for communication purpose with other forum members. If you’d like Support Team to be involved to help you then you have to create support request but not just a topic.

Regarding product – as I can see from the history, we’ve done a refund as you requested.

All the features that addon supports are listed here https://usabilitydynamics.com/tutorials/wp-invoice/power-tools/
You had to review it before purchasing.

    Thanks.

I never said you didn’t give me a refund. As a matter of fact, the link I provided clearly shows that you did.

I did review the addon before purchase. What I got was nothing like your caps when I exported, so either it’s since been updated or mine wasn’t working properly.

And I have issues with paying for support. I’d rather pay for a plugin than pay to make the plugin work right. That’s my issue, not yours, and I understand that. But it’s still something that affects how I feel about the plugin.

Edit to original post: Somehow I missed adding the link to the “no responses” section.
