Can someone point me in right direction where to find a discussion about support for new pages in a theme? So far, only titles of the newly created pages show up on home page, but when clicking through to them, only a blank webpage appears. Thank you.

Are you trying to write new Pages through your your Dashboard?

Or are you trying to add a page template to your theme?

If you could share the name of your theme, and a link to your site, that would help.

Did you setup fancy permalinks? Are you using a cache, or any other plugins?

What kind of content are you adding to these Pages, are you embedding anything?

A link to your site would be helpful.

It looks like the Pages are working OK to me, but I am seeing the default theme. Does this problem only occur with the Coffee Desk theme?

you're right, pages work with default page only, not the coffee-desk theme. is it a matter of setting up permalinks, how do I do that? thanks.

No, you don't need fancy permalinks, the preview in theme directory is working fine with the default permalinks.

Have you tried re--downloading and re-installing the theme, just to make sure all the the files are intact?

would you like to take a look at how the pages look like in coffee-desk theme? still not clear abt the resource for permalinks setup. thanks.

Notice that the post link doesn't work? This doesn't have anything to do with your pages, it's with all the links.

Have you tried any other themes besides the default?

I think something is more broken than just the theme. Maybe you should try completely reinstalling WordPress.

Yeah, lots of things can go wrong during an upgrade, one corrupted or missing file could bork the whole thing!

Since it takes five minutes to reinstall, it's easier to replace the whole thing than to try and find it...
