Sorry, i’m not sure to understand as the checkbox is the starting point of the plugin.. To remove it, simply deactivate the plugin.
for none buddyPress users, their are forums that are strictly support forums. So marking the topic as a “support topic” when creating a new topic each time would not be needed, since the whole forum is a support forum. Can it be included automatically, so that the user would not need to mark it as a support ticket? Also to be able to turn on or off the functionality via backend.
Ok i better understand, i need to upgrade the plugin, so i’ll include your suggestion to it.
Thanks for your feedback
I’ve worked on it, just published a beta on github, see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/targetting-20?replies=1 for more infos
I created a forum “support” and marked “This forum is dedicated to support, all topics will be marked as support ones.” But the test topic in this forum still has “[Support request]” in front of the name.
I thought in a dedicated forum this will not be displayed?
Tested with Beta 2
As it’s quicky informing about topic support status i think it’s best leaving it, that’s why.
