• I installed Supercache and activated the plugin, then went and turned it on in the options, and I get this at the top of every one of my pages:

    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager

Even better than that, the ONLY thing that displays when I try to log in to the admin console is that message. I can’t log in at all. So I manually deleted supercache out of the plugins directory and it still does the same thing. I deleted everything that said cache out of my server and I still get the same message.

THE GOOD NEWS: I installed the plugin to access my admin console from my mobile phone. This is the only way I can get into my admin console now. We’ll see if I can fix this with two thumbs and a lot of patience.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

  • You’ll need to edit your wp-config.php file and remove this line completely.
    define('WP_CACHE', true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager

Thank you Jeremy! Works fine now. And now I’ll be backing up everything 🙂

Your quick saved me from pulling out a cigarette and nervously puffing away for the next hour.
