Sundance theme! (hiding page title w/out hiding excerpt header)

Hi. I’m having trouble with page titles in the Sundance theme.

The problem is that the page title shows up below the video slider, making the page look odd. But if I hide it, it also gets hidden in the navigation bar as well as the excerpt box next to the video slider. I guess this is because it is an h1. Can anyone help me? I’m not terribly experienced and I’m doing this for someone else, and could really use a hand.

My website is test.neverabystander.com. I would dearly appreciate some help. Right now the home page is not hidden, but before, I hid it using `
.page-id-4 h1 {
display: none;’

I would deeply appreciate some help!

ps. Right now if I hide it on the other pages, they still appear in the navigation bar. I’m not sure why only the home page disappeared when I did it before. Cheers 🙂
