Sundance theme as full width…. How to do it?

I’m using the Sundance theme as a web site, not a blog. How do I remove the column on the right side of each page but retain the scrolling window of photos? I want the scrolling window to be placed at the top (beneath the banner). I’m not an HTML programmer but would greatly appreciate any assistance.
