Feeds are not the same as posts on a page. Look for an option that deals with excerpts on posts.
You’ll need to modify your Theme.
Full post content is output via the the_content()
template tag. Post excerpt content is output via the the_excerpt()
template tag.
Use the latter wherever you want to display excerpts instead of full content.

Only if there is not a theme option to show excerpts.
I just checked the code of the theme and there is no “the_content()” in it. What should I edit?

Where did you download this theme from? I can assure you that it has nothing do with with wordpress.org

Why do you not have a copy of Twenty Eleven installed? It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.
Since you are apparently using a custom theme, there isn’t a great deal we can do to help – other than to suggest you try reading up on http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_content and Theme Development generally.
