Hi Guys and help...I have checked the summary box in "settings-reading" but it doesn't seem to work, still showing full post in http://www.returningexpat.co.uk, I know there are other ways (plug-in, insert more tag) but I like the summary way, any help greatly appreciated, thanks

That summary is for your RSS feeds - not your posts display. You would need to start modifying your theme's template but, as you are using Twenty Ten, you first need to create a child theme for your changes.
