    Thanks for the update. Not sure if the current version removes transient items from DB. If not, then I would like to drop this in your suggestion box... :)

    Hi Jasonpel, thanks for the suggestion.. is it safe to remove those entries? Can you give me a bit more info on the transient entries? On my end I will look into it too. :)

    I am a bit worried because this might run a query on the options table.. which is kinda sensitive area :)

    Yes, please add this option... this problem is well known in WP...

    I have to use another plugin for removing transient items
    (link: Artiss Transient Cleaner - http://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/)

    It would be nice to have everything for optimalization in one plugin

    btw- this plugin optimizes DB and cleans useles things... should I use another plugin for this or is it enough?

    Hi, looks like this plugin removes transient items from the DB: http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-optimizer/

    You could have a look at this for an example.

    It would be a great addition for WP-Optimize.

    next version coming up with 3 new cleanup - transient, postmeta and unused tags cleaner
