    I just wanted to inform in case it hasn't yet that yahoo has an option available to send info on updated pages without the need of having a yahoo application ID. In case the developer of this wonderful plugin gets to read this, he could try to implement such code & make life a little easier for everybody.
    In case of wondering, the link for such info is at: http://developer.yahoo.com/search/siteexplorer/V1/ping.html
    The actual code is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Success xmlns="urn:yahoo:api">
    <Message>Update notification has successfully submitted.</Message>
    </Success>
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Stgro,

    thanks for your suggestion! The plugin used this ping service a few versions ago, but it was much too unreliable. Just search this support forum for YAHOO and ping and you'll find dozens of posts where it didn't work.

    Because of this problems, I've switched back to the ping service which requires an API key but always work.

    Best regards,

    Arne
