Suffusion doesn't work well with qTranslate plugin

Having major problems trying to get breadcrumbs ‘home’ link on pages (posts work fine oddly enough) and home link url to work with this theme. Tried suggestion written last year by mtheo (http://aquoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12350) but it doesn’t work. A real pity ‘cos the theme is great and so much work has gone into it, but for me it needs to work with qTranslate. I’ve tried getting help from numerous places but perhaps nobody can help me as this must be a very difficult problem to solve.
