Suffusion - Creating custom fields within custom templates (3 posts)

    Hi,
I have dual language (qtranslate) website Suffusion theme with standard layout (1 right sidebar) for most pages but I want to create a different page type (keeping sidebar just with different styling on main content) which just shows a series of small maps on the left and descriptions on the right with a link, so I created a custom layout template. No problems so far I think! Then I figured I needed a custom post type. How do I get custom fields into this plugin I suppose is my question. So when a user clicks on Maps (my custom post type) they just have 2 fields - one in the left to put a map pic in and one on the right to put in a description..in 2 languages.
Hope this post makes sense and if anyone can help..greatly appreciated.

You may want to ask on Suffusion's dedicated forums here:

Or if it's a plugin question, best to ask on the plugin's sub-forum here:

Thanks WPyogi - Yes I felt the post belonged to Aquoid but I've tried and for some reason I'm not able to post anything, despite being registered and being 'allowed' to post. Twas a last resort here! Shall try qtranslate.
