Suddenly stripping the paragraphs away.

    I’ve been using this add-on for awhile now, and all of a sudden (perhaps since the newer versions of WordPress), it has started stripping paragraph formatting from the Pet Finder listings. Only new petfinder listings, for whatever reason.

    Any new petfinder listing we make, when we have the description of the dog set up into paragraphs for easier reading, this add-on now displays the information as one big run-on chunk of information back on the website.

    And again what’s weird is that it is only doing it on any new dog listed, or if I were to go into a dog’s profile on petfinder and change the description and re-save, it would also happen.

    Any ideas what might be causing it?

    I’ve noticed this in petfinder too. Petfinder had a WYSIWYG formatter on the Animal Description field for a bit, but it’s gone now. I just did some tests and all returns and html added to the Animal Description are being stripped out of the XML data returned from Petfinder. Hopefully this is something petfinder will change quickly. The HTML was not being stripped out of the XML the last time I added an adoptable dog a few weeks ago.

    Bah, Pet Finder is buggy on the best of days, why am I not surprised. Hopefully they do fix it soon.
