   Two days ago I stopped receiving comment notifications. (Blog: misszoot.com) Other than write blog entries, nothing had been changed. I have very minimal knowledge and/or understanding of the machinery behind the notifications, but I found something somewhere that said I needed to have a wordpress@mydomain.com email set up. I did that. (Although, not sure that was necessary as it was obviously not there when the notifications WERE working.) I have made sure they're NOT in my spam folder. (I use gmail, easy to search.) I have even tried this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ due to other suggestions, nothing is working. I'm still not receiving any notifications.

   I'll take any help I can get. Please.

   I received word finally from my host saying that this issues was caused by a cPanel upgrade. Some new security feature was blocking the script sending the email. I hope this information helps someone in the future as my host (totalchoicehosting.com) was able to get the issue working right away.
