Sudden malfunction (4 posts)

I set up a wordpress blog yesterday - the second wordpress blog on a single godaddy-hosted site.

Yesterday when I installed it, it was working.

This morning when I pulled it up it was working.

The first blog post wouldn't post. I would hit the post button and nothing would happen.

I closed eveything down and rebooted the computer. Now the blog is completely non-functional. I type in the url and get an error page. I type in the wp-admin url and get an error page.

I do know how to use a wordpress blog. The other blog on the site is still working fine.

    working - femalebraingoneinsane.com/menopausehormonenews
    not working - femalebraingoneinsane.com/menopausecureclienttestimonials

Does anybody know why this would happen all of a sudden? I could just uninstall and re-install, but if I don't know why this happened in the first place, I don't feel confident that I'll be able to prevent it from happening again.

Is this a godaddy thing? I have found it very difficult to wok with their hosting in a lot of different ways.

Thanks for any help/guidance you can give me!

So you have two copies of WordPress in two sub-folders.

    1. menopausehormonenews
    2. menopausecureclienttestimonials

Can you use FTP to look at both subfolders?

Hoping you have Linux hosting there.

    Hi Michael!

Yes - two different sub-folders named exactly as you typed them

Yes I can use FTP to look at both subfolders

Linux - yes (Although that is not the OS of my computer)

Make sure both subfolders have same permissions (644 for folders) as it tries to download http://www.femalebraingoneinsane.com/menopausecureclienttestimonials/wp-login.php

Guess you could have a PHP memory issue also.

But a call to Godaddy support might be in order.
