JJ NextGen JQuery Slider
Substitute Bullets for ControlNav (5 posts)

I use this plugin on a few sites, and find the shortcodes useful and working properly. Is there is a way to substitute bullets for the thumbnail control navigation at the bottom of the slider? It seems possible with Nivo Slider, but not sure how to implement in WordPress.

You ought to create your own thread on the issue, NFWRo.

I am trying to figure this out as well. The install info on this plugin page has the following note about it:

controlNavThumbs: Use thumbnails for Control Nav. You can choose 'nextgen thumbs'' that will automatically use the image's thumbnail from nextgen gallery or 'nextgen original' that will use the current image. (sc: controlnavthumbs="true"|"false"|"nextgen_thumbs"|"nextgen_original")

But, I can't figure out how to make this work. I am trying it out here:

    Thanks.

I think I figured it out - you just pick one of the settings. So here is the code that ended up working. Unfortunately it places the thumbs on top and the thumbnail sizing doesn't seem to work, but I'm going to keep playing around with it.

    Here is the shortcode syntax:

    [jj-ngg-jquery-slider gallery="1" controlnavthumbs="nextgen_thumbs"]
