[resolved] Subsidiary Menu Widget (3 posts)

    Hello,

    I have an issue with the subsidiary menu widget that i am seeking some much apreciated advice on.

    I plan to use it to display 4 images on the bottom of each page of my site in a horizontal line. Achieving it by placing the 4 images in a text widget. However the images display vertically and seem limited to roughly 200pixels wide.

    I know this is probably a simple fix but i cannot find the right code to get around it.

    I have a child theme installed and am pretty sure i just need the edit the style.css to format it correctly i figured it would be something like this but have had no luck to which im sure is a simple solution.

    #menu.subsidary {
    display: inline;
    width; 100%;
    }

    Im learning CSS slowly but any help on this i would be very gratful for.

    Do you mean 4 fullwidth images on top of each other at the subsidary widget area ?

    If so, put your 4 images into one of the widget, then view source to get the id of that widget. Once you get the id use this CSS in your child's style.css

    Example of id value = #text-8

    #sidebar-subsidiary #text-8.widget {
    	float: none;
    	margin-right: 0;
    	width: 100%;
    }

    So that's 4 images in 1 widget.

    You could do 1 image in 1 widget, just get the ids ( 4 of them ) and use comma to share the same property.
