    We lost our list of subscribers; just disappeared from the blog.(too bad we didn’t back it up). Been to our host and they have tried twice to restore, to no avail. Ideas? Could it be that a plugin is not accessing the data? or…

    List of subscribers meaning … what? You mean all your users or something else?

    We lost the WP subscriber list (that you access from the dashboard)of all the people who have subscribed to receive our new post notices via email, about 150 people in all.

    Ah okay that’s (a) a plugin and (b) something in your database that needed to be restored.

    Make backups of your DB regularly!
