    hi,I use this plugin and have no probles.

    I have couple of questions:

    1. Is possible to have this underneath the comment box (with a small box to tick mark):
    Notify me of new posts via email.

    Or Is that be a different plugin?

    2. In Admin-Settings-Subscribe2, is it possible not to have all those categories displayed in the section called “Excluded Categories”? Although it’s good feature, but in my case I never exclude any categories. So in my case it’s unneeded and it just takes too much room there.

    1. I’ve seen the same thing on WordPress.com sites. I’m not sure if there is another plugin that offers this.

    I want to get this in Subscribe2 but I’m waiting on a new hook in the WordPress core API code to do it and the core devs are not committing my patch. See:

    Perhaps with a few more votes the ticket will get some traction.

    2. No, those categories need to be there. I guess I could look to add a show hide feature at some point but then I’ll have people asking when they can’t find it 🙂

    I have also seen that. Apparently there is a hack/workaround for it. Hope somebody can share here.

    @t-p,

    I’ve had a look at Subscribe-to-Comment type plugins and have (I think) managed to find a work around to my missing hook. This means I have code that adds the “Notify me of new posts via email.” option when commenting now.

    Are you interested in testing for me?
