    Matty,

    I am trying to purchase your Subscribe2 HTML plugin however I do NOT want to purchase the update recurring package. Please advise.

    This plugin is for a client and they are not interested in being billed monthly.

    @Lauren,

    You can cancel the recurring support and upgrades any time in the first 14 days. Make sure you leave your client a backup or rename the plugin folder though because if they upgrade via the WordPress menu system they'll get the free version back again.

    Why did I get this, as I didn't initiate a cancel:

    @jimkimmons,

    The payments processing for Subscribe2 HTML is handled by a company on my behalf so I cannot tell you why the payment failed.

    I just had the same thing happen to me. Is there some issue with the handling company you may not be aware of?

    Perhaps, I'll contact them and ask as this is the third or fourth time in a month now.

    Just for info: We are experiencing the same cancellation this month.

    I did, here's what they said:

    Hello Jim,

    Greetings and thanks for your email.

    Its only the next scheduled subscription payments which has been cancelled due to some changes in the system.

    We will be sending you an email with more information within a week or so.

    You still have access to any purchases you've made.

    Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    I have e-mailed them myself today and are waiting for their response, but I guess it will be the same answer. Its good to know, thanks again!

    @All,

    I was advised over the weekend that WPPlugins.com are working on this issue and are re-factoring the regular payments. Hopefully they will have another update soon.
