    Hello,

    I have been using Subscribe2 for about a month now with no issues. Now, it will only send 150 emails an hour. I didn’t adjust anything!

    Quick overview:
    *Host is BlueHost – Limited to 2,000 emails per hour.
    *Have about 5,400 subscribers.
    *Added Mail Queue to release 1,700 emails per hour. It was set to release 30/minute for a while prior to breaking. I just switched to 1,700 to see if it would fix it.
    *In Subscribe2, the most email addresses to release at once is “0”. I changed it to “90” to see if that was the problem but had the same occurance.

    Needless to say, if it sends 150 emails per hour, all my subscribers won’t get it. Note that the emails that are being sent are being received.

    This happened all of a sudden. Please help!!

    As a quick follow-up, it is about 150 per hour… sometimes a couple more sometimes a couple less??

    Figured it out… BlueHost somehow downgraded me from my Pro Package to a standard user where your outbound limit is 150 emails per hour. BlueHost just told me that i am back to 2,000 emails per hour.

    Not Subscribe2 fault.
    Not user error.
    Crazy server issue.

    Keep up the good work Subscribe2!

    If you didn’t change anything then the only other possible source of a change is your hosting provider. Subscribe2 cannot just change the code and stop emails from sending.

    Subscribe2 sends all emails instantly, if you are using Mail Queue this will send individual emails and Subscirbe2 will ignore the number of recipients per email setting.

    If Mail Queue is set to send 1700 per hour and it fails after the first 150 then it looks very much like a hosting change, as in a downward adjustment of your email allowance. Please check with Bluehost and see what they have to say about your accounts restrictions.
