Since about 2 days ago my wordpress has stopped allowing me, or anybody, to publish posts or pages. When writing a post/page, instead of the standard 'Publish' button we now get the 'Submit for Review' button (i didnt set this). However, once i press this, the address changes to craigmurdo.com/wp-admin/post.php as usual, but i get a 500 internal error message.
Any ideas - bit of a novice, and have no idea what would cause this. is the file corrupt? or is something set wrong.
any more information needed jsut shout!
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

i have the feeling its something wrong with the post.php file. i have also tried reinstalling wordpress but this changed nothing either.
