Does anyone know if it is possible to have a page on wordpress where visitors can submit their own content and it will display live on the site. Kind of like a comment, but a little bit different.
The website is http://www.thecaninedirectory.com, and I want to create a section where users can upload photos or post dog ads and whatnot.
Please let me know if you know of a plugin or something that can help me do this.

yes it is possible. you can create a form in a page and store that data into the database and display it on the front end.

If you don't have a great deal of technical know how a plugin would be the easiest option. I have done this in the past using a Forum plugin.
Try searching for a forum plugin for wordpress. The one I used allowed visitors to post into a new post page using a form on a page. Here is the site I used it on:
