Submenu item won't show in smartphones..

    I’m helping a friend cleaning up a website that a third party made in the first place.

    As obvious it’s also a kind of old version of WP in use but for now that will do except for the fact any child menu item is not visible neither in iOs nor Android. Is this default in the theme or is it due to an older version.

    What is the solution?
