    i have a site currently on http://www.oldsite.com/blog
    so there's posts on url's like http://www.oldsite.com/blog/some-category/some-post-name

    what i want to do is redirect these to http://www.newsite.com/blog/some-category/some-post-name

    Currently i've got this in my htaccess:

    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine on
    RedirectMatch 301 ^/blog/$ http://newiste.com/blog

    But this is obviously only redirecting the root of the site.

    How can I get the rest to re-direct properly?

    surely pretty permalinks don't matter...

    redirect http://www.oldsite.com/blog/{x} to http://www.newsite.com/blog{x}

    ?
