  • I also can’t seem to get this plug-in to work with multisite (subdirectory-based). Although I have subdomains set in DNS (also tried a wildcard), and configured the plug-in, WordPress does a 302 redirect to the main domain.

Any ideas where this is happening and how we can get this plug-in to work? Thanks!

I figured it out last night. Here’s the dirt:

I wasn’t able to get this work with Multisite – SUBDOMAINS based. Jesse’s fix didn’t fix it either. I have a feeling that this may not be compatible with subdomain MS because at the DNS level *.domain.com is pointed to the server IP… can someone prove me wrong? Thank you in advance!

    spiffyd,

I’m pretty sure this plugin won’t work with WP Multisite subdomains. I’m pretty sure anything this plugin could do would be overridden by the WP multisite code. Maybe WordPress MU domain mapping with a subdirectory installation would work for you instead of a subdomain installation?
