Subdomain listing category

Hi does anyone know how to do this?

I blog on a number of different topics (depression, self-esteem, etc)

I want to have each of these topics to be a prefix i.e. depression.mysite.com and self-esteem.mysite.com

I would like each to then open up a page in WP that lists the posts for each of those categories. Ive looked at Linda MacPhee-Cobb’s and Frucomerci’s plugins. Linda’s gets close but I need a file located under the prefix domain folder to make this work.

Im wondering if Linda’s will do this.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
