Subdomain just for posts, but not pages? (1 post)

Two years ago, someone asked the following question, and it never got answered. I'm here today to ask the same question, hoping I'll get one.
    ---
Hello everyone, does anyone know of a plugin or hack that will allow me to display only post content on a subdomain, for example:

I have my wordpress 'pages' at http://www.mysite.com and i'd like to display wordpress 'posts' at blog.mysite.com.
    ---

I'll add to that question by saying that I set up my permalinks so that all the blog post urls look like http://www.mysite.com/blog/post-name/ and I have a static front page specified in the settings, with blog/ page specified as the blog page, of course.

I tried just mapping the subdomain (via Godaddy hosting which client uses), to /blog/ but that ends up making all the posts have the same blog.mysite.com url. (No titles in the url, every post is just blog.mysite.com).

    Any ideas?
