Did you set up wildcard subdomains both server side and in DNS records, as outlined in the instructions? 🙂

I believe so, as I have this working on another multisite on the same hosting account.
You have to do that for each domain, you know.

Hmm… I use GoDaddy… after doing some research, I found this.
Does anyone know how to wildcard for GoDaddy?
I believe at GD they get you to buy a dedicated IP to have wildcard subdomains. Check with them.

So basically in order to create a multisite on GoDaddy, I have to pay them more and set up my own system on their dedicated IP?
You’ll need to clarify it with them, but that’s their restriction.

After talking to them, all they could do was refer me to this artile: Here. Which I already followed. I quote from the article
NOTE: You cannot use the WordPress Subdomains option with our hosting.
So you cannot even do this with Godaddy.
then use subFOLDERS.
on their higher level packages, you can use subdomains. there’s posts here in the forum about it. I have found though, that their support often gives conflicting answers as well, so I cannot recommend them.
