Subcategory Bug in Mingus 1.2 (5 posts)

I'm using subcategories in my blog at http://www.holycow.com/joe/
If a parent category is empty, the list of categories in the menu won't display a link to that category, or to its children. I believe this behaviour started with the final 1.2 release, as I don't recall it happening in the 1.2RCs.
The workaround is to set one of the child categories to be in both the child and parent, causing links for all related categories will appear in the menu.

It may not be a bug.
There are parameters for the Template Tag used to list the categories, and one of these identifies whether a category should be listed even if it is empty, and some have to do with Children and so on. Look up the template tag you are using in http://wiki.wordpress.org/TemplateTags

Even if the empty parent category not displaying isn't a bug, the child categories should still display if they're not empty.

errm, should not main categories automatically pick posts from it's subcategories? or maybe not...
