Sub pages – dropdown menu

    Hello there,
    I have just started creating a website but I am no able to create sub pages (dropdown menu) from the main horizontal bar.
    How can I do that?
    I tried entering the pages which should be subpages indicating the parent page to which they should belong, but it does not work.
    From Appearance – Menus, I tried to put a parent page on the primary menu (horizontal bar) but nothing happens when I click on parent page placed on the primary menu, the subpages do not appear at all.
    Can anyone help me?

    From Appearance – Menus, I tried to put a parent page on the primary menu (horizontal bar) but nothing happens when I click on parent page placed on the primary menu, the subpages do not appear at all.

    You have to manually add the children pages under the Parent on that menu.
