Sub-Pages / Child pages not showing (4 posts)

I've tried assigning sub-pages to their 'Parent' pages under Pages and positioned them as indented under their Parent pages in Custom Menus (Appearance > Menus). However I haven't managed to get the sub-pages / child pages to show under the parent page.
Nothing seems to work. Does this theme support sub pages?
This is my first time creating my own blogsite and first time using wordpress. Any assistance is MUCH appreciated!

The depth is set to 1

Meaning, you did everything right, it's just that the menu is limited to 1 level. Also it's placed in the sidebar which I don't think it should because if users want a menu in sidebar's area they can use the menu widget already. Anyway, this might be a design decision.

Meanwhile, if you know a little html, the work around is not to assign menu at all, then use text widget with your own handcoded custom menu.

Many thank! I'm clueless when it comes to code and where to add it in, so may ask a local web developer for some help on this. Unless there are instructions for 'dummies' I could follow?

There are lots of themes, good themes in the WP.org's theme repo, I would try out different themes and see which one suit me the best, switching theme doesn't cost a dime, just a few clicks.

Of course, I would use theme that the author is actively answering support questions. Hiring someone to take care of this for you is also a good option too, so you can concentrate on making the content.

Unless there are instructions for 'dummies' I could follow?

The instruction is everywhere, in WP.org's documentaion, and all around the web, but it takes time to learn, it's a lot.
