[resolved] Sub-Menu Won't Save - Keeps moving back to main menu position (11 posts)

I've been working on my blog for a week now and haven't had any problems until today. I am adjusting categories within the menu (navigation) and the submenu won't stay put. Every time I hit "save" each of the sub menu items moves up to the main menu. For example:

I want it to look like this:

    Home
    About Us
    Meet Our Team
    In the News
    Website

    It saves like this:

    Home
    About Us
    Meet Our Team
    In the News
    Website

Any reason why it keeps doing this to me??? SUPER ANNOYING!

Yeah - that explanation didn't work. It did exactly what mys ite is doing! I need the "meet our Team" and "In the News" sections listed as sub menus - they should be "tabbed over" but won't stay put.

I am having exactly this problem. I had my menus nicely set up with customised main menus that were "empty" and then drop down submenus. I created the submenus by sliding them to the right but wanted to chenge the order of some of them. Everything is fine till I hit Save and then all the sub menus I've touched slide over to the left. Is there something I've forgotten since I first set them up or has something changed?

    I should have
    about
    about us

Sorry that went out before i'd finished.
My main menus are custom menus and my sub menus pages.
    I should have
    about
    - about us
    - about no1
    - location
but the sub menus keeps sliding back

Thank you so much @bronwengibbs!!! I messed with this for days on IE9, tried different themes, plugins, etc. Finally used Firefox, as you suggested. Now works like it should! Hopefully, this will be fixed in future WP updates.

It's not a WordPress issue - if changing browsers works, that's an IE issue.

hi. just installed latest version of wp 3.6 onto my site. using the thirteen template, everything installed fine but I've got two problems.

I can't add or save any menu items and i can't save after I've unchecked the "leave a comment" box.

    all very strange.

can anyone shed any light on this?

@LonelyBoy2 - could you please start a new thread - this one is quite outdated and the forums work better that way per
