   Hi,

   I get my sub menu like this:

   But whenever i enter a subpage the order of the submenues change... Can anyone see the problem, of maybe a better way to do this?

   Hi EsbenCN,

   I'm not sure what your code was as it's been moderated out but I would suggest the easiest way to control page and subpage order in menus would be to use a plugin like Custom Page Order or My Page Order.

   My code is back now...
   I am just using the menu_order already build in - how could the plugin help me when i'm writing themes?

   Hi EsbenCN,

   I've seen many themes that make use of plugins, so there is definitely a way to integrate plugins into a theme. Honestly, that sort of functionality is probably best handled with a plugin. I found this article to be pretty interesting and helpful on that subject:

   Hi ChristiNi,

   Tried a plugin for menu order, but what is does is actually the same as editing the numbers in the menu_order field in each post, and therefore still the same problem for me... Still guessing it must be a problem in my code...
