Hello. I posted this on a previous topic relating to the same subject and the same thing, it was resolved but then decided to open it within the same topic due to it needing more expansion on the topic but due to someone who loves power over equality with no sense. I have had to create a new topic.
I wish to create a sub menu on a page. Here is the code:
<ul class="sub-menu">
<?php wp_nav_menu(''); ?>
</ul>
Simple. But when I refresh the page I am getting the main top menu in its place and not the sub menu I have created. Any help? thoughts? etc?
Thank you and beyond...

Sorry to bump! this up. But why does this seem to be so difficult. This must be a wordpress weakness!!
I just want a submenu. Im sure wordpress know hows will know how to do this.
I have a main menu at the top and just want a sub-menu on the right with a list of different menu items.
CAN ANYONE HELP? Ive been trying for days now. Please!?
Ps. I have reasearched this and nothing simple comes up. I just want this to be simplified for me.
