  • I’m currently on worpdress 3.0 (due to strict server guidelines) and I am trying to get the main navigation highlighting working on sub menu pages.

I currently have my menu like so:

    – Main Nav Item 1 (page)
    – Sub Menu Item 1 (category)
    Posts under category
    Posts under category
    – Sub Menu Item 1 (category)
    Posts under category
    Posts under category
    – Main Nav Item 2 (page)
    – Main Nav Item 3 (page)

Every time I click on any main nav item it adds the “current-menu-item” class to it, which is what I want. But when I click on a post that is under a sub menu item there is no parent menu highlighting only on the sub menu. Here is the link to the page in question. I’m pretty sure this has to be fixed through one of the wordpress files but I’m not sure where to look.

The site is currently under development so there are pages that are empty/funky. The sub menu is currently hidden because I don’t need to display it, but there are posts that are under each sub nav item.

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!
