I've just upgraded my blog to 2.3.1 and now my sub-domain no longer works! The blog still works if given it's real address i.e. http://the-world-in-focus.com/blog4 but not to the sub-domain which worked just fine until I upgraded http://419-scams.the-world-in-focus.com now bounces back to my root/main site http://the-world-in-focus.com but what is even more odd is that when I login it takes me to my sub-domain i.e. http://419-scams.the-world-in-focus.com/wp-admin/
Any help ideas would be more then welcome.

p.s. I used wordpress-automatic-upgrade set to auto for the upgrade

Posted 4 years ago #HaHa I spoke to soon.I can get it to redirect but now I've noticed that it only loads the landing page and nothing else loads (database maybe???).

I got the same problem after upgrading. It only work when we login to set the option, manage the post or such. But pasting the sub-domain address for veiwing won't work at all.
Any idea plz?

Posted 4 years ago #I have same issue. When I call the address http://blog.ikiru.ch it redirects to http://www.ikiru.ch instead of http://www.ikiru.ch/blog
If I call a sub address, like http://blog.ikiru.ch/galerie or http://blog.ikiru.ch/wp-admin, it works well...
It is clearly a wordpress bug, since it works like a charm with my other subdomains, and cannot be bypassed modifying .htaccess (inactivating this file doesn't change anything).
