  • I concur with philmorse. Don’t restrict the subcategories to a single level. Consider having multiple layers that are maybe organized like a technical document (e.g. 1.1.1)

    The default behavior for Edit Flow is to include any posts assigned to child categories in the box for the top-level category. You can change this behavior with the ef_story_budget_posts_query_args filter such that only posts assigned to the category will appear in the category’s meta box.

    You can change which terms appear on the page with the ef_story_budget_filter_terms filter. It will default to parent => 0, which means top-level terms.

    In layman’s terms, if I want to display sub-categories as well as categories on the Story Budget, what do I do? I must confess the above means nothing to me – sorry.
