• Hello

As you know, WP 2.8.6 and above has the option to make a post sticky.
I want to emphasize that sticky post, for instance to give it a different background color, or a different border color, or to place a small triangular image in one corner of it.
I dont want it to be unique when viewing its complete version. I want that to be seen in the index, where only an excerpt of it is shown.

I might create a new category “sticky posts” and include each sticky post in that category, and then to stylize that category rather than each single sticky post. But how to do that ?
Is there a plugin or something ?

  • You can just use the is_sticky() condition already in WordPress. Haven’t used it before but look into that.

Thank you, but I didnt understand what you mean by “using is_stickyy()” .. as I said, I want to stylize / customize the css of the sticky post.. not how to make a post a sticky..
