Styling Question – Widget Title Background Misbehavior

I’ve styled the background of my sidebar widget titles with a colored background. I’ve also added a left border, so in order to keep the text from pushing right up against the line, I’ve made some changes to the padding and margin.
On all of my other widget titles, the background adjusts to these padding and margin changes and stretches out to the left to meet the border on the left. However, with your widget, I can inspect the element to see that the background *should* be stretching to the edge, but the background color is not stretching, so there’s a small space.
Can you help?
