[resolved] Styling a Custom Menu? (3 posts)

    Hi,
I'm working with the "Admired Child" theme (based off Admired obviously). I'm trying to use the editor and my web developer plugin on Chrome to re-style my custom menu on the side.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but nothing is working.
Tried using .menu li, .menu ul, etc. to change it, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Its been a long week and I'm tired, so I could be missing the obvious.

Here's a screenshot how it currently looks (http://i48.tinypic.com/2dgnsea.png)--I'd like to get rid of the list-like look and possibly get it to look similar to the top bar navigation (and if its possible to do a pop-out menu for the links under the main heads in that list, that'd be super.)

For CSS-specific issues, consider CSS-specific forums.

Okay, I can try there as well.
