stylesheet problem and RSS question (6 posts)

    Hi All,
I have a couple of questions which are hendering my progress.

first question: After going through the many many themes, I finally found one (actually two) that I like, but when I upload it I get the following error but when I view site, It looks perfect! If I use this theme despite the error msg, do you think it would cause me problems later on? The error is as follows:
    Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    Stylesheet is missing.

    Second question:
I've read in the blogging book that I reference (blogging for dummies) that having RSS capability is very important. The second theme that I'll settle for if the first is not usable, does not have an RSS button. Is having an existing RSS button important to choosing a theme or can I SIMPLY (very new at this) add the RSS feature to any theme?

Just a note: after reloading the first theme that gives the stylesheet error several times, I tried different themes just to make sure I was loading correctly, and got no errors so it's something weird with that particular theme.

    Please help.

Give a link to both of the themes your trying to use. Then we'll go from there.

    Hi Jeremy,
Pardon the delayed response. Here are the links:

    First choice gets error:
    http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/1394/red-rose-1/

    Second choice no RSS button:
    http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/1396/gladiola-10/

I hope the links work. Thanks for your help.

I installed the first theme and it's working just fine. Looks like your upload to your web server didn't go through fully.

Delete all the files under the directory red-rose-1 from wp-content/themes directory. Then do a fresh upload of all the extracted contents of red-rose-1.zip file.
