Why don’t you think that message shows after you update another plugin?
i updated nothing, i enabled only your plugin /downloaded and activated after i removed, that message remained this is the prob.
Ok, send me the list of your activate plugin. i will install one by one and check.

the prob. that i for real don’t undestand that massage, strange thing that i have already styles (that plugin to the last version…)
only thing that i done is enabled your plugin maybe there is a some checking version conflict? 🙂
n.b. i have: this plugin Styles: TwentyFourteen (last version) 1.0.2
the message at the top is: Styles is almost ready! download and install etc. i undestand maybe you don’t know about it but came from after enabled you plugin maybe for a little conflict, i think..disabled both same message at the top..

That message can be shown by the theme you are using.
If you are a technical guy, you can search in all files of my plugin, you will see it doesn’t contain “Styles is almost ready” (as the message you saw).
If you are not, I’m going to help you figure out this problem. Please send me Admin account to your site. I will check, also I promise will not touch to any content of your site.

i think the prob. is the plugin activated from some update check..do you can verify? or think that offend me is “problem solving” ? thanks.
Your verify will be simple, install TwentyFourteen & TwentyFourteen styles and your plugin.
