    Hello everyone,

I'm currently constructing a site for a piano method that has licensed teachers that teach all over the world. The site is built as a membership site and teachers log in to order materials, pay fees and interact with other teachers. One other function that I would like to have is to allow teachers to "register" their students. This isn't the same as registering them onto the site. Rather, I would like teachers to be able to input information about their students (name, address, date lessons started, etc.) into a location that allows for them, and the company, to access the records and edit them. Exporting the records would also be a nice function.

Does anyone have any ideas of what plugins I could possibly use to get this done? I've looked into using the participant database, but this wouldn't allow the teachers to go back in and view/modify their student records.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know about restricting the student records to only their teacher or an admin, but the Pods CMS Framework plugin will let you define a custom post type with the required fields and provides all functions necessary to add/edit/display the records.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to check out Pods and see if it works for me.

    I appreciate your input.
