    Hi There,

Im trying to create a site (only local at the moment) where at first i just want users to be able to create an account log in and be able to post to a forum, some users may also nee d to be able to edit pages but im guessing this can be done in wordpress admin by an administrator. secondly i will be adding an online shop but im not sure which one ill be using, as part of this shop i would like it to be able to use the credentials from the existing profiles. im not sure if this is possible but any ideas on how to do this with any plugins or what plugins are generally more compatible with others.

any help you could offer would be great.

    Cheers

To create an account - just be sure to have "Allow people to register" enabled in the Settings, then send them to http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-login.php?action=register

To create a forum - use bbPress

eCommerce plugins like WooCommerce, WP eCommerce, etc should play nicely with bbPress (they run off WordPress' account system as far as I know).

I'll try to test this myself. Let me know if that helps.
