Regarding this issue that seems to be happening:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/links-disappear-when-editing-a-published-post?replies=21#post-3707713

My links are disappearing on multiple sites after I hit 'update". They show on the front end, but if I need to edit the page, I have to redo all or some of the links on the page (it isn't consistent, sometimes it's all, sometimes it's a few).

It's happening on a many sites on a few different servers with different plugins and seems to be happening to others too so it may be a bigger issue than plugin interference. It's extremely frustrating.

Nicole, did you find any fix for this on the link Esmi posted. I read it and don't see anything on there for this link stripping problem.

Have you looked at the code after hitting update using the TEXT tab in the update page/post WYSIWYG editor? Does Wp insert   where the links were? Thats whats happening to me.

Are your problems happening with links INSIDE div tags or all links?

As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Posting in an existing topic prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem - despite any similarity in symptoms - is likely to be completely different.

I've mostly noticed it on links that are on either images or on text that stands alone rather than text that is in the middle of the paragraph. I haven't seen any updates and I didn't see any known bugs for it. I though it might be TinyMCE advanced, but I disabled it and it still happened.

As soon as I open the editor, the links are gone. If I open it and it happens to be in the text editor, they seem to stay, but even if I make no changes, they disappear from the visual editor as soon as I open the page. Most of my clients use the visual editor so having them disappear and have to re-add them every time is becoming quite a problem.

I think esmi was replying to iso. Your issue may be addressed in this:

Ah, yes, that does seem to be the case from what I can see, though it goes a little beyond what I understand. So I guess I just hve to suck it up and wait for 3.5.1 to be released to fix the issue?

Esmi, I thought asking a question, asking a different question or "hi-jacking" a thread was what was frowned upon. I was trying to "discuss" the original posters problem and see if I/we/wp etc could track down the issue and see if they are at all related, thus coming to some conclusion. I thought Nicole's problem and mine MAY ( I wasn't 100% sure as thats what I was trying to figure out) could be the same.

I know you guys have your work cut out for you answering thousands of posts, but I felt it was ok to post here and try and help.

Thank you for all you guys do.
