   hi there,

   I have a website under development and I'm posting a placeholder for a while. I'd like to allow users to comment on it, blog-style, so i installed wordpress. Is it possible to strip off all the features except for the comments? no header, stats, etc?

   1. No, I don't think so. All the comments are related to posts, so without posts you don't have comments.

   2. If you want help for a website with WP don't give a link going to a slow loading flash gizmo!

   I want to make a post, but just have the post and the comments, none of the design, header, or interface elements. So it's all stripped down.

   And, it's only slow-loading on slow connections.
